I have met some crazies in my local area over the last 10 years, so Im wondering if other men have seen similar things...

One woman I met (6 ft)
was a lawyer who didnt care to pay her big pile of speeding tickets (real smart), another (6'2") took something like 30 cruises, I believe this was with her parents inheritance money, another (5'10")drives a Mercedes and dates men 20 yrs older than her ($$$ I can only presume)

I have also seen/met a number of women who dont even like taller men, my next door neighbor (who just moved out) had a live-in 6 in. shorter than her.

Is there some sort of height/domination thing going on here? Comments??

My experience has been the exact opposite of Bertcat. While I haven't dated many women compared to most guys my age out of a preference to limit myself to only those who I could see as long-range partners, I have found that very tall women tend to be straighter shooters who display a confident respectfulness toward others. Height is only one of many dimensions that shape people's lives, but the very tall women I have known have all been good or great persons. Even those who were very well off financially didn't seem to let the money or material things go to their heads. I believe that a woman taller than six-foot experiences situations that "grow" her personality. Without any effort they walk into spots where they see a bit more of the good, the ignorant, and the different in life. It makes them think and learn. At least that is what I have seen and sensed in the women I have known.

In my experience tall women are no different as long as they're comfortable with their height.

One woman of recent acquaintance apparently developed a hypersensitivity not just due to her height (almost 6'3') but because she is broad-shouldered and buxom. She admitted to being of two minds about the attention she drew (but does dress provocatively)

bertcat, what a cute play on words! TALLER women being HIGH maintenance...of course the personality has a lot to do with it. Have you ever wondered what attracts this type of woman into your life? I see from your profile you're in your 40's and it appears you haven't ever been married. Have you led that sheltered of a live in NM? Surely there are wonderful, tall, slender women (like you're seeking) somewhere in your vicinity. Are you perhaps really afraid of what you say you are looking for? I'm no therapist...I mean I'm looking too...I intend no disrespect...it's just something to consider.

Bertcat, Thanks for sharing that, about some tall crazy gals. I have had a much harder time, generally, having good conversation, or meeting of the minds, with tall ladies. Not all, but, fairly often, and, like you, I have not found, many tall gals, interested in me, or tall guys.I would love to have tall lady friends, but, all my friendships with ladies, are with short ones. I am sure there must be some of them, not wackos, who really would prefer to date taller guys, but, we have not met those, yet. 2tallgary
