I recently got interested in finding some individuals that were serving in Iraq to send letters too & care packages. I can't say I'm pro war but I feel really strongly that They are there for us & we should be there for them. I have an adopted army PFC who is 19 yrs old that I recently sent a care package & letter to & have communicated with via the internet a couple of times. Soldier support only gives out 1 name I was wondering if anyone out there new of a site that gives you their needs & info so that I can take care of more than one of them. with the holidays approaching & them far from home its something that I would encorage anyone to do. Its a win win....

Thanks for all the great tips. I now have 3 guys 19-26 years old a couple on there second tour in Iraq. It amazes me how easy it is to just send a little TLC. one of my guys was begging for twix bars, He said he was dreaming about them . How is that for humbling. I got a box full of goodies & mailed it today, LIFE IS GOOD.....

Thanks Char1967 for making this blog... and great timing for the holidays. The company I work for has several active members in the National Guard and several retired military people (this is purposeful as we procure government contracts). Like you, our company along with individual co-workers have troops that we send care packages to. Contact your local Salvation Army, they provided us a list of items that the troops need and want. Also, Operation We Care is a good source for what items to send or to make a donation.
